Holy Week

LAST UPDATED April 4, 2020

Dear Parishioners,

Please know that I am keeping all of you in my prayers and hope that we can soon be back in the Church for Mass.  As you know, our Masses have been cancelled as well as our ministry gatherings for the time being.  I would like to take this opportunity to remind you to sign up for our parish app (MyParishApp), join our Facebook page (St. Thomas More Corpus Christi) and check our website regularly for updates in the coming weeks.  This is how we will be communicating with you with the latest information.

These weeks without masses has definitely affected our Offertory.  While we have received a few envelopes in the mail or the mailbox, it was considerably less than our normal weekly offering.  We did have an increase of 5 families participating in our online giving this week which is greatly appreciated.  I know some of you may also be suffering financially or have even lost employment, however, if you can continue to tithe, it will go a long way in keeping our parish going through this pandemic. Even though you may not be able to go Mass in the traditional sense, please continue to support your parish to the best of your ability and circumstances. I encourage you to please consider setting up an account to make contributions on-line. Information is supplied in this week’s digital bulletin (available on the app and website) on how to do that.  I personally give on-line and find it so convenient. It is available on the (MyParishApp) and through the website.  This way, even if you are not able to be in the parish for some reason, like sickness or travel, your support is weekly there. Remember this is your parish and in these difficult times, we have to keep things going and have employees to pay.

There are many online sources for Mass as well as prayers, websites for books, videos, and other Catholic resources, etc. listed on our Facebook page.  While we are all dispensed from attending Mass, Mass is available to you several times a day online.  I encourage you to keep the faith and partake in as many of these activities a possible to get us through spiritually until we can meet again.  The work of the Lord goes on!

Our office is remains open at this time, Mon, Wed, Fri 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and Thurs 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and 2 p.m.-5 p.m.

Take care and God Bless,

Rev. Tomasz Kozub, Pastor

Spiritual Communion

My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart.
I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You.
Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen
